Planting took place on July the 18th, when 750 native trees to be planted.
Starting March 29th weeding for this years planting took place.
July 8th and 15th about 1,500 native trees were bought in from Kerikeri.
These trees were be carried onto the planting areas by friends and family.
On Sunday 18th July, ShadeHouse tree planting volunteers planted all the trees and scrubs.
The school holidays in July, my family and friends planted their 500 trees.
Then there is the tidy up and completion of this years planting.

Starting May 9th 2020 there were working bees on a weekly schedule.
June Friday 5th June:- 50 odd trees will be carried in for the first planting day. Maybe 4 of us to check the soil and last years trees.
The next week more trees and some preparation, weeding, path clearance.
The following week, third week of June, 500 more trees, some planting.
The first week of July, my family will plant the 500 trees.
The second week of July, massive effort to carry in 1,300 trees and scrubs.
On Sunday 19th July, All welcome, ShadeHouse tree planting volunteers will plant all the trees and scrubs ready to be planted.
The following 2 weeks will be finishing, tidying up
